Dessa Assessment Window:
The window for the Fall 2018 administration of the Devereux Student Strengths Assessment (DESSA) will open on Monday, October 22nd and continue through Friday, November 2nd. We will use Form 4 for Fall 2018 and have not yet made a decision on which form we will use for the Spring 2019 administration.
The directions for logging in are attached. Please have all of your DESSA information in by Friday, November 3rd by the end of the day.
New teachers: Please look for an email from Apperson with your login information. If you have not received it, you may use the login page and check "forgot password" to set up your account.
Please check your roster to be sure you have all of your students listed. If you need any changes, please contact Mike DeGuzman and he will be happy to help you.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this very important social-emotional screener on your students. The information is valuable for all of us since it can give us information on how our students are performing socially and emotionally and assist us in determining interventions that target individual student needs. Please contact your School Psychologist or School Social Worker if you have any questions about the DESSA.
