FMS End-of-the-Year Newsletter
June 9, 2020
End-of-the-Year Message
As the 2019-20 school year comes to a close, I wanted to extend my sincerest thank you for all the support and time you have dedicated to helping your children, and our Fisher students, during our virtual school platform. This has been an unprecedented year in many ways, and your flexibility and efforts have been a tremendous help.
Although our students are not with us, everyone at Fisher misses them terribly. Our priority at Fisher has always been the well-being of our students, and even though they are not currently with us, their safety and welfare will continue to be our top priority.
In this newsletter, I have included some pertinent end-of-the-year information for your review. Please have a safe and enjoyable summer. Our hope here at Fisher is to see all of our students again in September.
Thank You.

Fisher's Promotion Ceremony
We are saddened and disappointed that we cannot be with our students for the usual milestones we share at the end of the year. However, we still want to celebrate our 8th grade students and their accomplishments.
We will be doing a virtual presentation for the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony which will be released on June 17, 2020. The Fisher Community will receive an Instant Alert once the event is uploaded to the website. Promotion and Award Certificates for the Promotion Ceremony will be mailed home. In keeping with our tradition, a few students will be recognized for special awards during The Promotion Ceremony. These students will be receiving a plaque. We will contact the recipients over the summer to arrange a way for them to retrieve the award.
Although the virtual ceremony is not the same as our traditional one, it is our hope that the 8th graders feel celebrated for their advancement to the 9th Grade
Thank You.
