A Message from the Principal...
Dear friends,
I hope you all enjoyed the Labor Day Weekend and are ready to go for Back to School Night this Wednesday. The PTSA is providing dinner for teachers who choose to remain on campus. I believe they are planning on Mexican food from El Ranchito. It should arrive around 4:00 p.m. and will be set up in the staff lounge. Due to the ant problem we experienced last year, the goal is to have it all cleaned up by 5:30 p.m., so please make sure you arrive before then. Thursday is our first Ram Way meeting of the year and sadly, I will be off campus for a K-12 principal meeting, so I am unable to join you. The plan is to roll out WICOR Wednesday and to share some instructional resources with you. Friday is the kick-off event for our school-wide fundraiser. This sure seems like a lot to pack into our short week!
A couple of other updates for you...
1. After multiple delays, our benches are scheduled to arrive on Friday and will be installed next week. I hope the students find them to be worth the wait. The good news is that I was able to negotiate a discount of nearly $900 for the inconvenience.
2. The new surveillance system is now operational. I think it's kind of like insurance - you hope you never need to use it, but when the time comes, you are glad to have it.
3. We are still working on hiring a campus supervisor (waiting on the district recruitment), but through the generosity of one of our parents, we have already secured a golf cart that will help our new resource travel around campus efficiently.
Have a great week!

Team Ram Kudos & News!
- Please be sure to check your mailbox for P-9's when you are absent. Payroll is requesting that we submit them immediately or even ahead of time if it is a planned vacation or absence.
- Help Needed! Teachers, please report your assigned duty station quickly to help with supervision. Ideally, you can have your class walk out with you a minute early. If for some reason you have a conflict, please secure coverage to act in your absence. If something comes up last minute, please notify Lynda Carter. Your diligence makes a difference.
