Our amazing PE teachers, Mr. Comins, Mr. Foy, Mr. Basanes and Mr. Longerbeam coordinated outstanding field day for each grade level, even the weather cooperated. Thank you to all the volunteers who spent time assisting with the stations and joining in the fun!

As we conclude the 2021-2022 school year, our inaugural school year, we can certainly say this is a year we will always remember. We could not be more appreciative of your partnership alongside our journey through the opening and first year at Hovatter ES. We certainly faced some challenges, and we are encouraged by the care, commitment, and determination of our Hovatter community!
Thank you...
To our outstanding PTA. The PTA Board and our general membership consists of hardworking, positive, supportive, and extremely capable members of the school community who always give so willingly of their time, talent, and energy whenever and wherever they are needed. These special ladies remained committed to their roles through in person and distance learning……thank you Vicky Theodorou, Christina Mosely, Ashley Rushing, Michelle Stolle, Kirsten Palmer, Yvette, McKechnie, Kelly Davis, Ashley McMillan, Nichole O' Hara and Shannon Clements. Additionally, thank you to the committee chairs who gave new meaning to the terms organization and efficiency. Their dedication and determination are models for service to the school and community.
To our parent volunteers. While this year we were not able to include parent volunteers during the school as we intend to in the future, we appreciate our volunteers who were able to dedicate time in the office, our most recent field days, and special events. We certainly look forward to a more robust classroom volunteer program next year!
To our highly qualified and dedicated teachers. They approach each day with enthusiasm and hope. They tirelessly provide a positive and productive learning environment for our students. Their professionalism, dedication and determination throughout the school year has been nothing short of amazing.
To our support staff who consistently demonstrate the highest degree of dedication and professional performance. We are indeed blessed to have so many warm, caring, and competent people to work with and nurture our children. Our secretaries, our health clinic assistant, our instructional assistants, our custodians, and our cafeteria ladies, all improve life for our teachers and our students in a special way every day.
To our wonderfully supportive parents. The unfailing support and involvement from our parents in the educational process are so very important. The home/school connection is the key ingredient to school success. The loyalty, consideration, and trust we are building is one of mutual respect and appreciation.
To our students. They have risen to every challenge, working hard and doing their personal best each day. They have amazed us with their determination, creativity, flexibility, resilience, and promise.
Have a safe and happy summer! Rest, relax, rejuvenate and enjoy time with family and friends! We cannot wait to open our doors for the upcoming school year.
