Hello, Mustangs!

What beautiful weather we have had this week!! Truly amazing! Looks like the cold weather is returning this weekend so please ask your children to check lost and found. Remind them to be "accountable" for their belongings as this is one of our Global Citizenship Skills. Items that have been here for over a month will be given to a school in need on Friday (next week).

Do come this evening (Friday, Feb. 8) to our International Heritage Night!!! This is a most awesome event!! It is free and filled with fun learning for all. There is food tasting from many different countries, artifacts, and cultural experiences. Again, bring the whole family!!

Valentine's Day is on Thursday, February 14!! If your child brings a treat or card, please send enough for every child in the class. Being left out hurts! We are truly focused on kindness and caring. Thank you for your help with this!

Again, hope to see you tonight! Stay warm this weekend and enjoy a book with your child.

Happy weekend!

Jan Fickling, Principal of Midway Elementary School
