Wasco Families,
I am excited to share that students at Wasco contacted me with interest in starting an Environment Club. The “Founders” (as they like to call themselves) met to discuss the club's purpose, goals, and how to solicit members. This club will be for 3-5th graders, and we are launching it this spring as a trial run. The club's purpose (written by the students) is "Teaching others to care and value our school."
This week I met with students in grades 3-5 to explain the club and pass out applications. I am very excited to have our students initiate ways to interact with others and support our school. Our Wasco Wolves are amazing kids!

St. Charles North Summer Camps
The SCN Athletic Department is excited to offer a wide variety of summer camps to our community. Information and programming can be found in our

How to Report Absences
Absences should be called in by 7:45 AM if your child will be absent for any portion of the day. The number is 331-228-2900 and has voicemail. You can call during the evening or overnight and leave a message. Please leave your child’s name and the reason why your child is out. If they are ill, please indicate their symptoms.
Even if you notify your child's teacher of an absence via email, we ask that you please still notify the office.
Also, if your child attends Baker Station, please remember to notify them if your child will not be attending.
Dismissal Plans
Families, If your child is not following their regular dismissal plan (riding the bus, picked up from school, or staying after for a program), would you please be sure to provide me with the information in a note? If you are emailing, please also include our school office staff candace.thoke@d303.org, so that information is shared in a timely manner. Informing us helps us ensure the safety of the kids.
