The Season of Giving

Thank you to all of the families who contributed to our Giving Tree in the front lobby as well generous in food and monetary donations to our Elf Fund. We couldn't do it without you!

A special thank you to Mrs. Dempsey, our school nurse and all of her volunteers for all of their efforts this season.

Volunteer Clearances

After January 1st ALL parents/guardians are required to have clearances to volunteer for ANY activity within the school. To apply for clearances-please access the link that could be found on the district and Ferderbar Homepage. Volunteers are required to have the criminal and child abuse clearances. The additional three affidavit forms needed to volunteer can be completed at the school office or you may print your own online. Clearances are free for all volunteers. If you are volunteering 10 hours per week or more you will need to obtain a TB test.

Season's Greeting

The staff and I wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season and new year to the entire Ferderbar community.

Coats, Coats and More Coats

Please continue to check our Lost and Found. Once again the coats and other items are piling up. They coats and hoodies will be donated to a charity at the end of January if not claimed. Don't forget to put your child's name on all items that are worn or brought to school.

Dismissal Procedures

Our dismissal procedures will change as of Monday, January 4th. Please read carefully the new procedures. Many staff and district personnel were instrumental in creating a safe and efficient process. Thank you in advance for respecting the procedures outlined below.

3:25 p.m. Kids Club and All walkers will be dismissed through "B" wing doors. Students who exit out of the cafeteria can continue to do so.

3:28 p.m. Car Riders will be dismissed through "A" wing doors

3:35 p.m. All van and bus riders will be dismissed to the buses in the back of the building

Parents are to stay in the cordoned car line

Parents are to stay with their cars.

Students are asked to enter on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Move up when possible to keep the line flowing

If you need to enter the building we ask that you park at Poquessing.

Arrival procedures have NOT changed.

Winter Concert

Congratulations to our 4th grade chorus and third and fourth grade orchestra members for an entertaining holiday concert. Ms. Patrick and Ms. Oksyuk did a great job teaching and preparing our students for the concert.

Movie Trip

Just a reminder that our annual movie trip will take place on Wednesday, December 23rd. We will be leaving the building at 9:30 a.m. and returning at approximately noon. The staff and students will be enjoying Alvin and the Chipmunks-Road Trip at the AMC Neshaminy Mall Theater. Thank you to our HSA for helping to schedule and support the trip.

Winter Break

Just a reminder that school will be closed from Thursday, December 24th until January 3rd. School will resume on Monday, January 4th.
