Conver-stations
Annnnnd....we're back! Welcome home Pirates!
As you settle back in to the work day and connections with colleagues and students, continue to consider how engagement will look in your classrooms this quarter! Remember the first step in effectiveness with student engagement is to plan for it in your lessons! What are you going to implement?
Check out an example of a great student engagement strategy! Below is a video modeling "conver-stations," an example of how to use varied topics per team and rotate students through multiple conversations. This is a great strategy and idea that can be integrated and modified for any content. As you watch the video, consider how this might be used in one of your lessons this week - and how it can be used to differentiate for students who may benefit from certain topics and/or certain roles or questions/prompts to use within each topic you choose to have students to address.
This is going to be a GREAT 2nd quarter! Can you feel the energy?! Eeeee!
