Davis/Martin Peek at the Week
January 30th - February 3rd
Dear Parents,
This week there are several quizzes and tests. Please check the "Upcoming Tests" section below to see what students must be prepared for. A study guide will be provided on Monday to help students prepare for their Nonfiction text structures quiz outside of school.
Students have been working on their Genius Hour research in class the last few weeks. Beginning this week, they may start working on creating the presentation portion of the project. If there are any supplies/materials your child needs, he or she may start bringing them in this week. Projects need to be finished by Friday, February 16th. We can't wait to see the finished products.
A reminder about electronic devices (this statement comes directly from the student handbook):
If a student brings electronic devices to school such as a cell phone, watch that texts or takes pictures, video games, etc., they must turn the device off and keep it in stored their backpack. If it is goes off or if a student takes it out of their backpack, it will be taken up and sent to the office. A parent will then have to pick the device up from school. Please know that the school is not responsible for loss or damaged items.
