I recently completed reading Divergent by Veronica Roth. While I was reading it, I didn't like it too much, but once I got to the end, the book had really grew on me. Tris started to remind me of myself. She realized that doing what her family thought was best wasn't what she wanted. Tris also evolved into something much greater than she thought she would ever become. The situations that Tris found herself in really helped with her growth as a character.

One thing that i didn't like about the book was how one of its main points was Tris' and Four's relationship. I understand that many popular books focus on two characters creating a bond that some might relate to. I found that I wanted to read more about the trials Tris has to face and the struggles her family goes through. Don't get me wrong, Tris and Four are lovely characters, but their relationship just added an unnecessary plot to the story.

All three books shown above are included in the Divergent series. These three books follow Divergent, but Four is told from Four's perspective, instead of Tris'.
