Rancho Pico Journalism - Hoofbeats
Rancho Pico's afterschool enrichment journalism program, produced an issue of Hoofbeats, Rancho Pico's newspaper. Alice Xie, a West Ranch junior and former Rancho Pico Mustang, leads the program with the help of other West Ranch Ranch journalism students teaching our students how to write and edit articles. Mrs. Guzman advises our journalism club. Special thanks goes out to Alice and Mrs. Guzman for inspiring our future journalists!
Please enjoy the attached edition of Hoofbeats.

Upcoming CAASPP Testing
In the coming months Rancho Pico students will be taking CA state assessments in Math and English (CAASPP) and the California Science Test (CAST). Last year our Mustangs did a wonderful job as a student body maintaining the highest scores in the school district. We expect the same this year.
