AD INFORMATION
Please submit your Ad for the Band Banquet Memory Book ASAP! This amazing full color book includes memories from the school year as well as student ads, shout outs, and business ads. Local businesses can really get a lot of bang for their buck, the pricing is low for a full color ad, that hits around 200 families in the Wakeland district. These business ads help support local businesses and are a benefit for the band as they help cover the printing costs and we can put more pages in with cool pictures and fun memories with more ads.
Think of the memory book as a yearbook for the whole program! Each current band/guard student that attends the band banquet will receive a memory book. Families can also order additional Memory Books for $15.00, and students who aren't attending have the option to order a book for a keepsake.
If would like to purchase an ad to say congrats or give words of encouragement to your student(s), the STUDENT AD is your opportunity.
Pricing is as follows for STUDENT ADS:
- Full page Ad - $50.00
- Half Page Ad - $25.00
- Quarter Page Ad - $15.00
If you have a fellow band/guard member, Section Leader, Drum Major, or Director that was there for you during the year, the SHOUT OUT is also available. Pricing is as follows for SHOUT OUTS:
$5.00 for 25 words or less (Example: Suzy, Couldn't have made it through Marching Season without you, Johnny)
If you or someone you know would like to purchase an ad for their business, the pricing is as follows for BUSINESS ADS:
- Full Page Ad - $125.00
- Half Page Ad - $75.00

Requests for ads will be done through the invitation and an invoice from the treasurer will be sent to you.
Please email your ad, ad content (photo(s) & text), or shout out to whsbandboarddropbox@gmail.com. You will receive an email confirmation that your ad, photo(s) & text, or shout out was received. If you would like us to create your ad together, send us the pictures, wording and any font preferences and we will do the work! These can be submitted via email to whsbandboarddropbox@gmail.com. If you choose to have us design your ad, you will receive an email to review and approve the design.
All ads submitted via email must be in JPG format. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT PDF, WORD, OR PUBLISHER FORMATS! Please reference the ad sizes and resolution standards listed above to ensure that your submission aligns with them. If you have questions about resolution, how to save your file in JPG format so the pictures are not stretched or blurry, email whsbandboarddropbox@gmail.com and one of our volunteers working on ad designs will assist you. We can also provide you with a PowerPoint template to assist you with creating your ad with the correct dimensions. There are a lot of great photos you can use on the Wakeland Band SmugMug (http://wakelandband.smugmug.com/) or you can use your own.
Feel free to forward this email to family and friends in case they would like to place an ad as well!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Band Banquet Memory Book volunteers at whsbandboarddropbox@gmail.com.
Thank you!
