Leave your mark on the CAS Courtyard

The CAS PTO, Artistic Landscaping, CAS staff, and the Madison School District have been working on a plan to revitalize our inner courtyard. We are very excited to provide our students with the opportunity to learn and grow in a peaceful, outdoor space. There will be areas to quietly read and for full classroom learning.

We will be creating a safe, low maintenance space with a classroom area, reading nooks, and a pathway covered with 4x8 pavers, all surrounded by potted plants and whimsical extras for the children to enjoy.

We need your help to make this happen! Click here (or visit https://polarengraving.com/caspto) to buy a personalized, engraved paver to fill the space and help fund the project by Friday, June 9.

Pricing:

  • Text and Logo $100
  • Text only $75
  • Replica tile (coaster sized for home) $35

CAS Learning Garden

Thank you to all of the families that volunteered in the CAS Learning Garden this year. The children absolutely enjoyed planting, harvesting and tasting this year. Almost all of the children tasted different greens and radishes that were planted in the garden, and many asked for second and third helpings. They LOVED it! Our popular CAS salad dressing recipe is as follows:

Famous CAS Salad Dressing

¼ cup of Balsamic Vinegar

½ cup Olive Oil

Salt & Pepper

A Special THANK YOU to the Karounis Family for donating their olive oil from their vineyards in Greece.

If you are interested in learning more about the garden or interested in a low commitment volunteer opportunity next year, please email CASGardenFun@gmail.com.
