A Word from Your Friendly Neighborhood Principal. . .
Parents,
Yet another busy week here at RHES! Thank you all for your support of our Book Fair and for continuing to purchase books to put in the hands of your children! I LOVE the excitement I see on the faces of the children when they get a new book! Yesterday we hosted the kindergarten showcase and today we hosted the 2nd grade showcase. Both were wonderful events! I shared some photos below. Pay close attention to the JOY on the faces of the children and parents! We are proud of the children for stepping up and taking on the role of the teacher!
Today we also celebrated the culmination of our Cereal-ously Amazing Cereal Drive for 6 local food pantries! Thank you for your support and for sending in 458 boxes of cereal! That is over 150 more boxes than last year! Nothing better than coming together as a ONE family with 6 Houses (Davinci, Rowling, Bach, Edison, Newton, Carver) for a good cause!
Next week is Staff Appreciation Week! Let's come together to let this outstanding school of educators know how much we all appreciate them! Each day has a fun theme to show your support! I've provided a staff list below in case you need their names! Take a moment and send a note of gratitude using the form below! Don't forget our amazing teaching assistants as well!
Sincerely,
Andrew Davis - Principal

MARCH GOLDEN BEAR AWARD WINNERS
We are excited to announce our ROUND HILL GOLDEN BEARS for the month of March! Each month, a student from every classroom is nominated to receive this award. All students chosen for this award model our 3 R’s at Round Hill Elementary - they are Responsible, Respectful, and Ready to learn each and every day!
To celebrate our Round Hill Golden Bears, each student nominated is announced on our Morning News Show. In addition, they will receive a certificate that includes the reasons why their teacher chose them for this award along with a golden bear paw charm. Please join me in congratulating our Round Hill Golden Bears!
