Preparing Children for Kindergarten
Tips for Preparing your Kindergartners for School
Adapting to a full day away from home can be a major adjustment for our incoming kindergarten students.
The GJPS Kindergarten Readiness Mini Camp was recently held to provide a little support for some students making the transition to a structured school day. Presented by Concord Counseling Services, the mini camp introduced students to routines and activities in a kindergarten classroom and provided support to increase emotional readiness.
Recently highlighted on a WBNS 10TV morning program, the Concord Counseling team provided several tips for preparing our youngest Lions for Kindergarten.
