District Snapshot Simulations:
District Snapshot Simulations:
Please use best practices when administering simulations. It is encouraged to provide no more than 2 hours for a simulation assessment. Teachers should still provide accommodations per students’ IEP/504 plans, including STAAR allowable accommodations and supplemental aids.

NEW ITEM: 3rd Grade Reading Snapshot 2
After reviewing the data from Snapshot 2, it was found that question #2 is not a valid assessment of 3.8A. Here are three formative assessment options for 3.8A that can serve as valid alternatives to Snapshot question #2. We would recommend that teams utilize other formative assessment data to make instructional decisions for their students.MATH
NEW ITEM: The District Snapshot 3 for Grades 3, 4, and 5 will be the 2018 released STAAR assessment. The 2018 released STAAR assessment has been loaded into the District Snapshot 3 folder as well as the scantron has been loaded into AWARE under the district snapshot area. Please let me know if you have any trouble locating these items.
Support for Low-Performing Standards on District Snapshots:
The Elementary Curriculum Department has been working on ways to further support teachers and students. After each snapshot, teachers can access additional resources and videos to support instruction for students on low-performing standards. Here is the link.. Responding to the Data. The link will direct you to a tab on GPS that will house videos, documents, and resources. The math misconception flipgrid allows teachers to interact and post your comments and ideas, as well. This resource will continue to develop throughout the year.
