BASD Coaching Rundown

September 2021

Welcome Back!

We hope you all had an amazing summer and were able to enjoy some much needed relaxation time with family and friends. This school year, we will again be sharing monthly coaching newsletters. This issue provides a brief review of our roles and the various ways we can support you, among a few other small things. Be sure to read all the way through for a chance to win a raffle prize!

There's a New Coach in Town...

We would like to officially welcome K-12 STEM Coach Allison D'Ambrosia to the team! She is excited to help grow STEM opportunities in our district. She recently sent out a brief survey to get a pulse on how she can provide support. The survey links are provided below. Thanks in advance for filling it out:

Big picture

Be a Reading Role Model!

Our district has done much work over the past several years in an effort to ensure our students leave BASD with a true love of books. One key component to fostering life-long readers is to be a role model for students. As we've done for the past several years, we're strongly encouraging you to share your reading life! We'll put a fresh book sign in your mailbox soon. Please note what you're reading, hang it OUTSIDE of your classroom/office area so that it's visible to everyone in the school, and make it a priority to update it regularly.

Monthly Prize Raffle

Want a chance to be entered in our September prize raffle? Once your reading sign is up, snap a pic and add it to the padlet linked below. Be sure post your pic under your assigned building. We'll raffle off prizes at the end of the month, so be sure to post your pic soon!
