PRIDE TIME FOCUS: CYBERBULLYING

How do you help protect yourself in our tech world?

  • Educate yourself.
  • Protect your password.
  • Keep photos “PG.”
  • Never open unidentified or unknown messages.
  • Log out of online accounts.
  • PAUSE before you post.
  • Raise awareness.
  • Setup privacy controls.
  • “Google” yourself.
  • Don’t be a cyberbully yourself.

Don’t EVER talk to anyone you don’t personally know on Facebook or another site. Many dangerous criminals use fake pictures and IDs to lure in younger people. Never give out where you live, go to school, or where you will be at any certain time.

Parents please check out the following links below to help educate yourself so you too can help your child.
