READ 100 MINUTES A WEEK. IT IS SUGGESTED THE STUDENTS READ 20 MINUTES A NIGHT FOR 5 NIGHTS.
Students may have homework coming home throughout the week from small group Champs.

Tuesday-Mrs. Adair's Library Day.
SPELLING TEST SIGNED AND RETURNED DUE WEDNESDAY
Spelling: find and write 5 words to follow the pattern: R controlled -er, -ar
Wednesday- Mrs. Buchmiller's Library Day.
Brainstorm as many leaders as you can think of and why they are leaders. Due Thursday.
Thursday- Ms. Ballenger's Library Day. Mrs. Zembower's library day.

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING ABOUT?
MATH: Fractions: Half, Fourths, & Eighths
SCIENCE: Toys R Us. Over the next few weeks, students will be working to answer the question: Is it possible to design an entertaining game or toy?
Throughout this unit, students will show their learning by:
- communicating ideas about magnetism.
- describing and comparing patterns of movement.
- describing how force causes change.
- designing a game or toy.
- communicating ideas about force and motion.
We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. You can support your child’s learning by talking with your child about this unit and encouraging her/him to ask questions and think hard.
