Mayor's Youth Design Team

The Mayor of the City of Milton is creating a Youth Design Team that will provide input on various ongoing and future development initiatives. The panel will consist of eight members: two Juniors from Cambridge, two Seniors from Cambridge, two Juniors from Milton, and two Seniors from Milton High School. The finalist will be interviewed by Mayor Lockwood and will meet with the Mayor and City Manager monthly or quarterly. If you are interested in applying for the panel, please complete the form below. Applications are due November 30, and the Cambridge High School representatives will be announced on December 3, 2021.

If you have a January 1 to January 5 college application deadline, you must submit your request for transcripts and recommendation letters by December 3, 2021. School is closed from December 18 until January 2 for Winter Break. No requests will be processed during this time.

Cambridge Students Selected for Honor Chorus

Congratulations to our Cambridge Singing Bears, selected for the ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) Advanced Honor Chorus. These students were chosen from hundreds of audition applicants from 11 states in the Southeast region of the United States. They will travel to Raleigh, NC, at the end of February and prepare for a phenomenal performance opportunity.

Student Attendance Reminders

  • Students must check out through the attendance office if leaving campus during their academic day. If you do not check out, you are considered skipping.
  • If you are being checked out during the day, please give the Attendance Office your check-out note from your parent/guardian before school begins.
  • If you are ill, go to the Clinic, or ask your teacher for a pass to the Clinic. You will be checked out from there if needed.

  • If you are going on a College Visit, submit your pre-approved absence form before your scheduled visit.


If you have questions, please stop by the Attendance Office.

Bell Schedule - Week of December 13

Students will complete each class for the semester with an extended period over the week of December 13. During these extended periods, students will have the opportunity for recovery or remediation, complete outstanding assignments, or complete a final graded assignment for the class. Final Exams will not be held, and students cannot be exempt from these classes. Attendance will be taken during each period throughout the week.


Please note that Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are half days with lunch periods first. Students may check-in late during their lunch period and arrive by 10:30 am. Students on campus during their lunch period will report to the cafe.

The 2021-2022 FCS Technology Competitions are all virtual this year. Registration information will be available in the coming weeks. More information and the timeline can be found below.

2022 Georgia Scholar and Presidential scholar

Presidential Scholar: Due December 1, 2021, at noon

Click here for the 2022 Presidential Scholar nomination/application form. The application is due Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at noon. Any Georgia high-school student may complete the application, provided they are scheduled to graduate between January 2022 and August 2022.


Georgia Scholar: Due February 15, 2022, at noon

Click here for the 2022 Georgia Scholar application form. The application is due Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at noon. Any 2022 graduating senior attending a Georgia high school may complete the application, provided they met the criteria (outlined in the application).

Student Leadership Program

The Bank of America Charitable Foundation’s Student Leaders® Program is accepting applications for the 2022 Student Leaders® program. The application deadline is January 28, 2022.

Junior Meetings

Beginning this month and continuing through the beginning of February, counselors meet with all juniors to review graduation requirements, plan next year's classes, and discuss post-secondary options. Each Junior will schedule one 30-minute meeting with their counselor. Parents/guardians are invited to attend via Teams.
