Red River Newsletter
May 2020
Greetings Rider Families:
It looks as though we may finally be moving into warmer weather as we enter the month of May. It is hard to believe we are down to 18 days of school remaining for the year. We are extremely proud of the effort being put forth by the students and staff of Red River High School during this challenging time of distance learning. Thank you also to all of you as parents for your support during these unprecedented times.
Graduation Reminders
We will continue to plan and develop options for graduation and will relay that information to seniors and parents as soon as we have finalized all the information and plans.
Summer School Registration
Registration is taking place through May 15. If your son/daughter is in danger of failing a class, they should sign up for the summer school course if the class is available. Please contact your counselor if you have any questions.
As we prepare for the end of another year we would like to thank Mrs. Ekman, Mr. Opp, Mrs. Sand, and Mr. Sherwood for all they have done for the students and families of Red River High School in their years here. We wish them all the best in their retirements.
We thank you for your support of Red River High School through another successful school year.
Sincerely,
Mr. Darin J. Walters
Associate Principal

Together We Win!
Grand Forks Central and Grand Forks Red River have paired up with Feeding Forks on an opportunity to give back to those in need.
Feeding Forks is a movement in our community that is focused on feeding our students and their families in this time of crisis.
We have created an online store in which community members can purchase an item to spread hope with all the proceeds being donated to helping fund the Feeding Forks movement.
Please help us in this community fight...Together WE Win
The online store will be available early next week and we will use social media and every other communication source we have to keep you informed!
