Congratulations to the 15 CHS Seniors who were recognized during an assembly on March 25, 2021 for their outstanding academic achievements:

News & UpdatesThank you: FLAG-Thank you to the Front Line Appreciation Group for providing our entire staff lunch one day this week. Thank you to the Old City Cafe & Grill for providing the food, it was delicious! Spring Break/Full Remote - The District will transition to full remote learning for four days after the spring recess (Monday, March 29 - Monday, April 5), starting Tuesday, April 6, through Friday, April 9. On Monday, April 12, the District plans to return to our current system of hybrid in-person instruction. Please note that extra-curricular activities will continue during this time and all established protocols and procedures will be followed. Travel Reminder - Any CHS families planning travel, please continue to adhere to the NJ Travel Advisory. Travel Form - Please complete this form if you are travelling outside the immediate area (NJ, NY, CT, PA,DE). CPS Tech - Families in need of technology and/or technology support are welcomed Mondays - Fridays, from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. No appointment is required 132 Thomas Street (Board Office) Grades 8-12- We are proud to share a new initiative for our 8-12th grade students and their parents. The Signs of Suicide- SOS workshops will be held virtually, and we are offering two dates at this time: April 20th at 7pm and 28th at 2pm. To sign up, please click here. Covid-19 Testing - Please be advised, if a member of your household is getting a COVID-19 test, students, even if they were not tested, should remain home until the results are received. As you head toward this exciting milestone, consider taking a moment to reflect on your educational journey and those Cranford staff members who have impacted your life in some way. If there is any staff member (aide, custodial staff, administrator, teacher, supervisor, nurse, bus driver, secretary, coach, counselor, case manager, etc.) whom you would like to personally thank, please fill in the linked form and a letter of gratitude will be sent to the staff member on your behalf from the CFEE by Friday, May 14th. Met Masters - During a virtual field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art our photography students were tasked with selecting oil paintings to reproduce as photographs. Students needed to identify key characteristics of the painting like subject matter, color, lighting, etc. that needed to be replicated in the photograph while adding their own creative flair. Here are their resulting interpretations of the selected masterworks from the Met Museum collection. Please click here. CHS E-Sports League - CHS is interested in starting an E-Sports program next school year. This Google Form will help gauge the interest of students for next year as well as see interest in hosting a local E-Sports tournament this spring. This form is open to all students, as seniors will be able to participate in the spring tournament this year. When completing the survey please make sure you are using your school Google account. Fresh Pages Book Club - Grades 9-12 are all invited and welcome to join this newly formed CHS Book Club! Click here for details.
