Math- Now homework this week
Reading
We will continue working on Reader's Theater and Drama. We will also be reading some trickster tales, Folktales, Fairy Tales, and Legends. Hopefully, the kids will be performing a Legend about a baker's dozen for other classes next week, so we will be rehearsing that this week.
Language
After 2 back to back expositories, we're enjoying some lighter writing topics. We're also reviewing for a word study quiz. Be on the lookout for how your 4th grader is working on using COPS in editing situations. That assessment will come home next week.
Science
We will continue our investigations of electricity, currents, circuits, insulator and conductors. We will have our test this Friday.
Math
This week we will be reviewing everything we've learned thus far. Each day we will play a review game to discuss decimals, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will have a test on Monday over all content. We will be having lots of fun, so please ask your student what they learned/played each day!
Have a great week!

Social Studies
Now that the explorers have done their bit...that leads to missions. We'll look at several missions in Texas and the reasons why the Spanish used this method of starting to colonize our land.
