Athletic Update - SAC Spectator Policies
The current State of Michigan and MHSAA orders limit the number of people attending an athletic contest to two invited guests per participant. If the total number allowed in exceeds 100, that is considered "permitted excess".
All invited spectators must have a school issued pass. They will also be charged a $5 entry fee. All entry fees must be exact change. There is no entry for anyone who does not have the school issued pass. All spectators must wear masks at all times while at the athletic contest. This includes going to the concession stand or rest room. Social distancing while watching the contest is strongly recommended.
The athletic directors of the SAC and the administration at CCS view the opportunity for our fall athletes to compete as a real priviledge. We strongly implore all spectators to adhere to the policies in place which allow our young people to compete this fall.
All athletes will be provided with 2 school issued tickets prior to the event, students are responsible for providing the tickets to their guests. Guests will present their ticket and pay the entry fee upon arrival at the event.
Cell Phones - Student cell phones must be off and out of sight during the instructional day. Students are allowed to use their cell phones in the cafeteria during their lunch period. Students should not be taking pictures or videos inside the school building at any time.
Contacting your Child - If you need to contact your child during the school day, please call the main office at 269-468-2405. We will be happy to get a message to your child. Please refrain from texting with your child during the instructional day.
End of School Day - It is important that your child has transportation after the school day at 3:00 pm daily. We do not have supervision available in the building after 3:00 pm for students to stay in or around the buildings.
If you look at "The Week Ahead...", you can see that on Monday your child will return to their 2nd hour class, and on Tuesday they will return to their 3rd hour class. This occurs every day with the exception of Delayed Start Wednesdays.
Our goal with RTI is to use that time to cover important building wide topics such as Camp Chromebook regarding how to use and care for your device and other building initiatives. Teachers will also use this time to pull small groups of students to reteach concepts that some students might struggle with or to provide extension activities for students that have excelled at another topic.
Does your child need extra help?
