Message from the Principal
Dear Advantage Arts Family,
I appreciate the support from our amazing community. In this busy time, please remember that we are still enrolling for next year. We are working hard to share the Advantage Arts experience with as many families as we can. Please pass the word on to your neighbors and friends. If there are questions about enrolling, please contact Sydney Allen at sallen@advantagearts.org
This week was a special experience for me, as the principal. Often, I find myself busy with paperwork or meetings, but I was able to clear my schedule and get back in the classroom with our amazing students. I taught a day of art classes and p.e. As an art project, we made a "Get Well Wall" for all of the students, teachers, and families that we have missed seeing!
We really do miss seeing everyone here at the school. Remember, we are back in school next Wednesday.
See you soon,
Mr. Kano

This is for the safety of our staff and students. Please be sure to follow these procedures so that pick up can run smoothly.

Center Stage
Kindergarten Winter Hats
In kindergarten we are reviewing shapes and how to draw them. We decorated our Winter hats with different shapes by drawing them with oil pastels. Then we painted watercolor on top to see the wax resist. Finally, we used torn tissue paper to make a pom pom on the top of our hat. These turned out so cute!
3rd Grade Fraction Collages
In third grade we have been learning about fractions. We reviewed what a fraction is and how we could represent a fraction visually. We cut circles into different fractions and then arranged them on the page to make an interesting symmetrical collage. These fraction collages are going to turn out amazing!
