CYO Quizzo Night - Saturday February 11, 2023 @ 7:00 PM
Please join us at CYO Quizzo Night at McGettigan Hall on Saturday, February 11th, at 7 p.m.
Individual tickets are $20; tables for eight are $150, with a 10% discount if purchased before February 1st.
Beer, wine, and soda will be provided, along with mixers for BYOB liquor. We will have prizes for the winners, Mulligans, a cash 50/50 raffle, and a Super Bowl block pool.

Kindergarten - Grade 2 Basketball Clinic Registration - OPEN NOW until 1/22/23
Registration for Kindergarten-Grade 2 basketball clinics will be closing on Sunday, January 22. Five weekly clinic sessions focusing on fundamental skills and sportsmanship will be held in the St. Andrew basement gym starting in late January/early February. The leaders for this club will be Mrs. Russo (Pre-K 4 teacher) and Mrs. Corcoran
(Kindergarten teacher). We will provide a snack, a story, and a STREAM activity
each week. STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art,
and Math. If your child is interested in joining this fun and enriching club, please

KNEX Competition Club Registration
K’NEX - COMPETITION CLUB
Dear 6th, 7th, and 8th grade parents,
We understand that the next two weeks are very busy for many of our students - with Aladdin's practice continuing and the Science Fair and Future Cities competitions coming to fruition. Therefore, we felt it was in the best interests of the students to delay the start of the club until January 23rd. This only moves the club back one week, since we would not have met on the MLK holiday. We hope that the change will ensure that those students who have deadlines the week of the 16th are able to concentrate on those obligations.
We are excited to have a STEM competition at the school level this year and look forward to sending several teams to the Stem Design Challenge at the DCIU in March to represent Saint Andrew School. If you have already signed your child up for the new session of this club, there is no further action needed on your part at this time. Chess Club Registration
Dear 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th grade Parents,
Mr. Lignore will host Chess Club after school for a maximum of 20 students from Grades 5-8, on Thursday afternoons from 3-4 pm, beginning on January 26th, at a cost of $80 per child for a period of 8 weeks. Additional sessions will be offered in the late spring. If your child is interested, please fill out the form below, and send $80 per child in an envelope marked Chess Club to Mr. Lignore's attention. Cash or checks payable to Mr. Lignore.
PLEASE NOTE: Students are expected to complete the 8-week commitment as no refunds will be given.

Home & School Association News
Have you paid your HSA Membership Fee?
The Saint Andrew Home and School Association is dedicated to assisting the pastor, principal,
faculty, and students with their mission to provide quality Catholic education rooted in the Gospel. The dues assist in offsetting the costs of our school assemblies, Catholic School Week fun, and activities throughout the year. In order to continue to offer these no-cost and low-cost events we kindly ask that all families pay the $25-per-family Home and School Association annual membership fee. Payment of these dues will entitle each family to a copy of the Home and School Directory published in the fall.
