1st and 10th Grade - Ice Cream Social

Battle Lake School prides themselves on collaboration and students of all ages working together in their educational journey. This was on display in January when the first and tenth grade classes came together for an Ice Cream Social. They enjoyed ice cream while reading books to one another. First grade teachers, Mr. Olson & Mrs. Bellig, decided to have the two grades get together so that the young students could meet high school students in a comfortable environment. The first graders were able to share their oral reading skills with the high school students while having fun! They plan to bring together the same groups a couple more times this year.
