Vote Tuesday
One of my favorite quotes is by John Adams. So true. If you are looking for quotes next week for your staff bulletin or student announcements regarding voting, click here.
There are important issues on the ballot Tuesday. I have included three links to help inform our MoASSP membership. Take time to be an educated voter. MoASSP will not take a position on any of the ballot questions. The third bullet below provides a summary of the ballot questions and the implications to schools and public education.
- Better Schools for Missouri's 2018 Mid-Term Endorsements
- 2018 Ballot Measures
- Explanation of Ballot Measures provided by the School Administrators Coalition

Show-Me Tour Continues
Doug and I enjoyed visiting Bernard MS this past week as well as the St. Louis MoASSP meeting at Lindbergh HS. Our school visits continue next week as we head to Liberty North, Liberty, Park Hill South, and Staley High Schools and New Mark, Eastgate, Northgate, and Antioch Middle Schools.
Whether you are aspiring, emerging, developing, or transformational, wherever you are on the “Principal’s Journey”, it really is a “matter of principal(ple).” Clark Mershon

Liberty HS Hosts School Safety Event
Liberty High School extends an invite to area KC high schools to bring a sponsor and a small group of students to their second annual School Safety 360 event. This event is a student-driven, student-designed, and student-led event focused on the elements within the lives of our students that can enhance their sense of safety both inside and outside of school.
If you are interested in attending, click here for more information. Please RSVP to Dr. April Adams, Principal at Liberty High School. "Our goal is to spread the word of safety in our students' lives and we want to share this event for hopes of replication on your school sites," states April.
