Please be sure to attach any relevant documents.
COVID Protocols Update
Schools will no longer contact trace.
Schools will not exclude individuals who are close contacts.
If an individual tests positive for COVID-19, they will need to isolate at home for the full five days and be symptom free before returning.
If an individual is symptomatic, they need to stay home until they are symptom free for 24 hours.

MMS PTSO Update
Our next PTSO meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2nd at 8am. We will send out the virtual link to the meeting the night before. We hope to see you at the meeting!

EC Parent Night
Virtual Mooresville Middle School
Virtual Mooresville Middle School students will have an asynchronous day on Wednesday, February 16th. This means students will not have any Google Meets that day. Students will have an assignment to do for each class. Students can use the extra time to make up any missing work.
VMMS teachers will have materials ready to be picked up on Friday, February 18th. These will include 1st Semester Awards and Report Cards for those who have not already received them. Materials can be picked up in the office at MMS from 9 am to 1 pm.
We would like to recognize our students who have been showing the Heart of a Red Imp and have been noticed by our VMMS teachers. For the week of January 31st to February 4th: Addison W (7th grade) and Julia T (8th grade). For the week of February 7th - 11th, Zaira M (7th grade) and Logan B (8th grade). Congratulations and keep up the hard work!

MAWI Lessons
During one class session the week of Feb 14th the MMS Social Studies department will facilitate the following MAWI lessons:
7th Grade: MAWI Lesson #12- See the Invisible
8th Grade: MAWI Lesson #12- Being a Leader Online
MMS is using the MAWI program to facilitate social and emotional lessons that are designed to help students build life-long coping skills.
