Progress reports will be going home on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Your child will bring home a paper copy of the report card. Please feel free to check your child's grades on FOCUS at any time and request a parent-teacher conference as needed. At this time, we still encourage phone conference due to COVID.

ACCREDITATION STATUS UPDATE
The school would like to provide you with an update regarding our accreditation. Last month, the admin team had a READINESS REVIEW with COGNIA, the institution which has been evaluating our school. Based on the feedback provided by the lead evaluator, Team Success had a successful review and will be allowed to complete the final steps to accreditation through the Engagement Review in the spring. COGNIA will send their final accreditation decision to Team Success by the end of June 2022. The accreditation is retroactive which means that the school will be accredited starting with 2021-2022 school year.
WHY IS ACCREDITATION IMPORTANT?
Accreditation is designed to help educational institutions boost their ongoing performance efforts for the benefit of their students. Participating in an accreditation program demonstrates the school's commitment to raising student performance and accountability. Please note that a charter school is NOT required by law to get accredited. Team Success decided to move forward with the accreditation to add another distinction to its name. As you might know, Team Success is one of the top three high-performing, Title 1 charter schools in the entire state of Florida, which has a total of 677 charter schools.
BENEFITS OF ACCREDITATION
- Parents can confidently make informed decisions about their children's education, knowing their child's school is accredited.
- Students from accredited schools gain greater access to federal loans, scholarships, post-secondary education, and military programs that may require students to attend an accredited institution.
- Accreditation by Cognia lets other schools and colleges know that your child is coming from a school system that strives to provide the best education possible.
