Upcoming Service Opportunities and Events
One Stop Holiday Shoppe
This shoppe will be set up by SURVIVE to THRIVE, a fund housed in RESTORE Sexual Assault Service in order to benefit mental health care for sexual assault survivors. 100% of what Survive to Thrive raises goes directly toward this purpose.
Join us at our One Stop Holiday Shoppe on Sunday, December 3rd, 1-5pm
at 199 East Manitou Road, Rochester, NY 14612.We need volunteers for
- setting up/tearing down stalls,
- assisting with crafts,
- wrapping gifts,
- taking pictures during the event,
- greeting guests, etc.
Additionally, we are looking for donations of raffle baskets. We are encouraging clubs to be creative and develop a theme with each contributing toward the basket.

Clothing Drive for Holiday party!
Drop off your donations by Monday, Dec. 11th, 12pm
at Mary's Place, 414 Lexington Avenue, Rochester, NY 14613. For children and teens, we need NEW:
- Winter accessories: hats, gloves, scarves, socks
- Pajamas, onesies, pajama pants
- Bath/body products
- Hair accessories
- Jackets and coats
- Jeans and sweaters
You can also drop off your donations at the Shults Center Info Desk by December 11th and they will make it to the holiday party on the 15th!

The donated toys will be distributed to the children of the Rochester Refugee Community ages 5-15 at Mary's Place.
Suggestions for Toy Donations:
- Board games or educational games
- Legos
- Sports equipment (soccer balls, basketballs, footballs etc.)
- Stuffed animals and dolls
- iTunes gift cards
Those who cannot attend the game but wish to donate toys may drop them off at GAC 166, before DECEMBER 11TH.

MENTOR A YOUTH ADULT OR A FAMILY
Compeer = companion + peer
Compeer Rochester is a community-based agency serving mental health clinics in the community. You can COMPEER an individual or group facing a mental health challenge by joining one of the following programs at Compeer Rochester:
- Youth Program (for children 9-19 years of age)
- Adult program
- Compeer Corp (for veterans)
- Family Mentoring Program
- Compeer Calling/E-buddies

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB
The Accelerated Reader (AR) Program is a computer and web-based reading enrichment program developed by Renaissance Learning, Inc. designed to improve reading skills and encourage the love of reading through daily reading practice
The Boys & Girls Club is looking for volunteers to work one on one with students to work on their reading comprehension.
The program is held Monday-Thursday 3pm-7pm
