Soren Richardson es la directora asistente del programa Parent Education Network, un proyecto de Family Network on Disabilities (FND). Ha completado Florida Partners in Policymaking y los talleres de Pete's Wrightslaw. Soren ha estado involucrado con el sistema de escuelas públicas y los PEI/IEP durante más de 5 años y disfruta educando a familias sobre cómo navegar el proceso de educación especial. Vive en la Florida Central con su esposo e hijo. Soren nació y creció en Aruba y habla cuatro idiomas, Inglés, Español, Holandés y Papiamento).

Collectively the PEN Team has over 60 years of experience with all aspects of disability from medical diagnosis, early intervention to school eligibility - IDEA/IEP, inclusion in school & community setting, navigating Transition and Post Secondary options to living independently, and much much more … our goal is to share our experience, strength and hope through informal storytelling of raising our children with a wide range of disabilities & family dynamics.
