A truly beautiful time of year at Snow Ridge! The winter months are behind us. For the first time in many years, Spring was sprung with cooler temperatures than most of us can remember in a very long time! Summer is now upon us as we look forward to gathering together in August at our Annual Snow Ridge Village Community picnic and other social events.

Let's come together and create relationships that last a lifetime! Hope to see you there!

• On June 1st, our new security company began patrolling Snow Ridge Village. You will see a nice balance of a guard in the shack and riding around the neighborhood. If you need assistance please contact the guard or call 911.
• House painting has begun on Snow Ridge Circle and Snow Shoe. Decks will be painted soon on Ski Jump and Midway. To see a five year schedule for when your house will be painted, please check the SRV Website under the Members only section. (SnowRidge.org)
• Our water tower will be sealed and painted as you are reading this newsletter. There should not be a disruption to the community's water supply during this project which is projected to take 3 days to complete. Please remember to boil the water until you receive an email from Brad from Preferred Management.

Snow Ridge Village homeowner Edward (Ed) Darrow sadly passed away on May 30th. Ed was a Vietnam Veteran, President of Kidder Township Fire Department, and Past President, Vice President and long standing Executive Board member of Snow Ridge Village. He was awarded the First Responder Award in 2016. During his time on the SRV Board, Ed possessed institutional knowledge which helped guide the board in decision making for the betterment of our community for many years. In his free time, Ed was a ski instructor for several years on Jack Frost Mountain. He is survived by his wife Vicki, children and grandchildren.

The Executive Board intends to honor Ed following the November 5th annual community meeting by placing a bench and plaque at Mill Pond in Ed's honor. We are setting up a process for those who wish to donate to the memorial bench and plaque. All community members will be invited to the bench and plague presentation being held on November 5, 2022.

The Executive Board was advised that Preferred Management would donate 50% to the collected donations for the Bench and Plaque honoring Edward Darrow.

If you would like to donate for the bench and plague, please be on the look out for a specific communication coming out next week.

Dress Like a Pirate as we are led by a professional river guide down the river. We begin with a full river-running briefing, familiarizing our group with the ways of the river. NO experience necessary. Great for Beginners! Lots of FUN!!

Picnics are one of the best parts of summer, combining two wonderful things: enjoying delicious food and fun. Come meet your neighbor as we play games, eat and drink together.

Bring a shareable dish, chair, and your favorite beverage.

BYOB, Corn hole, Crafts for the kids, blow up slide (wear a bathing suit) for the kids.

Please Sign up in advance by August 12th.

Sign up as a group or be paired with other community members. Connect with all golfers for drinks. Each golfer will receive a SRV golf tag and drink ticket to be used after you complete the course.
