King Olav V Norwegian-American Heritage Fund
Sons of Norway Foundation
Purpose: To promote educational exchange between Norway and North America.
Eligibility: Applicants must be Americans, 18 years or older, who would like to further their interest in Norwegian heritage or in modern Norway at an institution of higher learning. The fund also welcomes applications from Norwegians who desire to further their studies in North America. Selection is based on grade point average, participation in school and community activities, work experience, education and career goals and personal and school references.

Simon Youth Foundation Community Scholarship
Simon Youth Foundation
Purpose: To assist promising students who live in communities with Simon properties.
Eligibility: Applicants must be high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university or technical/vocational school full-time. Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender, disability or national origin, and recipients are selected on the basis of financial need, academic record, potential to succeed, participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of career and educational goals and an outside appraisal. Awards are given at every Simon mall in the U.S.

Young Naturalist Awards
American Museum of Natural History
Purpose: The Young Naturalist Awards is an inquiry-based research competition that challenges students in grades 7 to 12 to complete an investigation of the natural world. It encourages students to explore an area of science that interests them, typically in life science, Earth science, ecology or astronomy.
Eligibility: Applicants must be students in grade 7 through 12 who are currently enrolled in a public, private, parochial or home school in the United States, Canada, U.S. territories or in a U.S.-sponsored school abroad. Each essay is judged primarily on its scientific merits.
Amount: Up to $2,500.

Purpose: To provide scholarships to the children of members of the International Brotherhood.
Eligibility: Applicants must be the children or dependents of members of the IBB and high school seniors who will be entering their first year of college as full-time students within one year of graduation from high school. U.S. applicants are required to take the SAT or ACT. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, career goals, extracurricular activities, outside school activities and essay.

Military Family Support Trust Scholarships
Military Family Support Trust
Purpose: To provide financial assistance to children and grandchildren of military members and others who have served their country.
Eligibility: Applicants must be children or grandchildren of current or former military members, federal employees of GS-7 or higher equivalent officer grade, foreign services officers (FSO-8 and below) and honorably discharged or retired foreign military officers of Allied Nations living in the U.S. The applicant must be a high school senior who has been recommended by his or her principal and have a minimum score of 21 on the ACT, 900 on the two-part SAT or 1500 on the three-part SAT. The minimum GPA required is 3.0. The award is renewable for four years.

Purpose: To advance the state of the flexographic industry.

ISIA Education Foundation Scholarship
Ice Skating Institute of America (ISIA) Education Foundation
Purpose: To encourage skaters to make athletic and educational achievements.
Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least three years of high school with a minimum 3.0 GPA during the last two years and enroll as full-time undergraduate students. Applicants must also have been members of the Ice Skating Institute (ISI) and have participated in the ISI Recreational Skater Program for at least four years, have participated in ISI competitions or classes within the last two years, and have completed 240 hours of verified service, with 120 hours volunteered. Applicants must also submit two evaluation forms and an essay of 500 words or less explaining why they should receive the award.

Purpose: To help success-driven students attain their higher education goals.

National Oratorical Contest
American Legion
Purpose: To reward students for their knowledge of government and oral presentation skills.

Purpose: To support students pursuing certificate or degree-seeking programs related to the electric energy industry.
Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. citizens and full-time students pursuing either a certificate, associate or baccalaureate degree in the electric energy arena including: power plant technology, electric line working, power line technology, electrical power technology, electrical line worker technology, electrical distribution systems, utility line technician and traditional or alternative power generation technology.
