Join History Club and dive into history. Choose a topic that interests you and pertains to the current year's theme. Learn how to research, cite sources, write an annotated bibliography, write a process paper, and put together a documentary, website, paper, exhibit, or performance based on your chosen topic. Compete in district, state, and national history competitions against peers. Have lots of fun and learn along the way!

Michigan History Day
Michigan History Day is an affiliate of National History Day, a yearlong educational program that encourages students to explore local, state, national, and world history. After selecting a historical topic that relates to the annual theme, students conduct extensive research by using libraries, archives, museums, and oral history interviews. They analyze and interpret their findings, draw conclusions about their topics’ significance in history, and create final projects in one of five categories: paper, exhibit, documentary, website, or performance.
