Kauble's Corner

Snacks
We have our snack time during first recess (10:00). Snacks are optional, but a healthy snack can help fuel your child's brain throughout the morning and tide them over until lunch at 12:15. Please refrain from sending candy, soda, or other sugary snacks to school with your child. It is hard enough to keep them focused with all the Halloween excitement brewing.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
Crankenstein
Miss Keil has been working with the class this week on a book called Crankenstein by Samantha Berger. They have made connections by writing about a time that they were cranky. They have been working on compare and contrast. They have also been working on their listening skills. Visit our blog at http://kaublescorner.blogspot.com/ to see pictures and see even more activities happening in our class she has posted!
Halloween Party
If you have not done so, please send in your $2 for the Halloween party Monday. Our amazing volunteers are working hard to make it the best party ever! Thank you in advance for your donation to offset the cost incurred by our room parent. Our Halloween Party for this year will be on Monday, October 31st. We will open our doors at 1:45 PM for parents to go to the classrooms. You must come in the front door and get a visitor's badge. The school parade will begin at 2PM. If it's not raining, we will have the parade at the back of the school on the blacktop. Just a reminder to make sure that your child's costume fits appropriately, isn't see through material, and is school appropriate. Keep in mind we have little ones all the way down to preschool age that see these costumes, so we try to keep away from gory costumes, scary masks, fake blood/makeup, and any weapons (even if they are plastic). See you at the parties!
