Prosper Ladies Association Light Lunch Ministry Cereal Drive!
Our first graders will be collecting cereal boxes to help support the Light Lunch Ministry program as a part of their financial literacy unit. During the financial literacy unit, our first graders learn about earning money, saving money, and also about being charitable to those in need. The Light Lunch Ministry program provides lunches and snacks over the summer months for those Prosper ISD students who receive the Reduced Meal Plan during the school year. These students might otherwise go without healthy food outside of the school year. This amazing gift from our community is dependent on donations so we need your help!
What : Donate Boxes of Cereal
When : Now until Friday, May 3rd
Where: Bring your cereal to school and drop off to the first grade.
Why: To help those in need and to demonstrate the importance of giving.
