Beginners Yoga

This class breaks down the most common poses (ASANAS) from the ground up, in a slower-paced format. Students will learn proper alignment in order to help protect the body and at the same time, learn to make adjustments or modifications in their own body to get the most benefits. This class is perfect for beginners or yogis looking to enhance their practice and anyone who desires a deeper understanding of alignment. These classes will involve poses on the ground, hands and knees and standing. If you have concerns about your ability to move safely and comfortably in any of these positions, please contact the instructor prior to registering.

Age: 16+

Registration Deadline: the Friday before all new monthly sessions.

Special Notes: Please bring your own yoga mat, towel, yoga block, strap and water bottle. Also, please be mindful about wearing long pants appropriate for yoga poses.


**In winter months, classes will not be cancelled. You will be sent a zoom link to attend from the comfort of your home.
