Why did you choose Delt?
"I rushed Delt because I felt more comfortable with the guys in the house. I felt everyone was honest with me and the Brotherhood was much better than anywhere else I went. Everyone knew who all their Brothers were and they had an actual relationship with each of them. "
What future goals do you have in mind with Delt?
"I would love to give back in any way I can and I would love to strengthen our bond with the Hattiesburg community. I think that when the Hattiesburg community sees Delta Tau Delta giving back to the community it helps them see that we are not just a Fraternity and we're not just a social organization. We're the men of Delta Tau Delta and we are here to help in any way we can."

Strike Out Hunger
This year kicked off our Inaugural Strike Out Hunger. We have paired up with the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta to raise money and collect cans for the Edward Street Food Pantry. We raised an estimated $1000 and 1000 cans for the cause. The Strike Out Hunger campaign will become an annual Zeta Chi tradition as we will raise money and food for others in need.
From The Desk of The President
When I first came to Southern Miss in 2012, I had a decision to make. I could rush, or I could not. Sounds easy right? Not to me at the time. I was worried about making the right choice. After all, things like joining a brotherhood are for life, not just for four years. So I did my research and I can say and will continue to say until the day I die, Zeta Chi Chapter of Delta Tau Delta was the right choice. I was drawn to this chapter almost as if by a magnet. The legacy and richness of its history would be enough for most men. Zeta Chi gets things done and gets them done in style. But for me, there was something more. Here lay raw potential. Potential to achieve so much greatness waiting only on the members themselves to unlock it. I can say that, for the most part, they have.
Since my Initiation in the Fall of 2012, I have seen many things come to pass. Three Court of Honors and a Hugh Shields to boot. No small accomplishments, and all because of the membership themselves. No one man can do any of this. It takes everyone behind the effort to succeed and the men of Zeta Chi have met the challenge time and time again. In just my term as President, we have started a new community service project: Strike Out Hunger. This is in addition to our other three, count them three, philanthropies we already have. Some may think us crazy but here at Zeta Chi we know giving back is one of the main reasons fraternities exist; so why not do it better than everyone else?
We are not without our flaws. No organization is. We struggle with apathy and the constant uphill battle of grades like many others. But it is a struggle worth fighting for and the men of Zeta Chi are going to exceed this like they do every other challenge presented to them. I am proud to call myself a Golden Eagle. I am proud to call my self the President. But I am most proud to say while I am indeed a member of Delta Tau Delta, I am a Zeta Chi man.
