6th hr Religion III Final Project
By: Bridget Gaudin
Who am I now?
I am a junior student at St. Michael High School. I love to read and create music. I love learning about history which I inherited from my dad. My favorite part of the school day is when I can go home and take a nap for about 4 hours. I've got three siblings who drive me insane on the good days. I tend to indulge on my childish side at times and will forever enjoy the old Disney classics. I represent St. Joseph Cathedral on the Diocesan Youth Board.
Books
I love reading because it's an escape from reality.
Naps
When you're little you underestimate the power of a nap.
Religion
My father ensures that religion is an important aspect of my family and our household. We attend mass every Sunday and, when I remember, I say my prayers at night.
Vocation
I not objecting becoming a nun if God really wants me to, but I hope that I can become a mother. I will raise my children in the Catholic Faith, if that is my vocation, just as my mother and father raised me.
Where I want to go
I plan on attending college at either LSU or I'm thinking about Nicholls in Thibodeux. I am still deciding on what my major will be. I'm thinking either going into education or writing for a living or perhaps neither. I haven't made up my mind.
5 years
- I see myself in college hopefully just finishing up my graduates degree
10 years
- maybe getting by masters degree and finding a spouse
- I hope that by this time I will learn wisdom to make good decisions and am always willing to help my fellow brothers and sisters
Theology of the Body
I wish to follow God's plan for me in life, though I still haven't found what that is. Until I do I will treat myself and others with respect and the dignity which each person has. I wish to be kind when others are not. I wish to be humble when most say I should be proud. I wish to realize my gifts and talents even when others don't see them.
Quotes which inspire me
"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool." (Is 1:18)
"Have patience with all things, but first of all with yourself." St. Frances de Sales
