We are almost to the finish line for Q4!

We have our second Project Based Learning Night this Tuesday, May 16th at 6PM for our 9th, 10th and 11th graders. This evening is an opportunity for our students to showcase their learning journey through real world experience and connections. Students will be able to discuss their projects, highlight areas of growth and areas they continue to improve on during their learning journey. Please see information below with showcase schedule.

We have accomplished quite a bit during this quarter. We completed all state testing and other assessments that will guide OSS in planning and instruction for next school year. We also completed our Advanced Placement Exams this week. Kudos to our AP students and teachers for their hard work and preparation. Our 10th and 11th graders were able to visit UCLA for a second AVID college fieldtrip. I think this trip might have been a fan favorite, so we will need to make this a school wide visit in the future. • Seniors Finals - Thursday, May 18th and Monday, May 22nd
• 8th Grade Finals - Monday, May 22 - Wednesday May 24th
• All other grades - Tuesday May 30th - Thursday, June 1st
• Graduation - Tuesday, May 30th at 7PM in Montgomery High Gym
• 8th Grade Celebration - Wednesday, May 31st at 2:30PM in Montgomery High (Original gym)

As a reminder:

• We continue to offer tutoring Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:15PM -5:15PM for all students through Thursday, May 25th.
