A Message from Mrs. Nelson

We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving break. We look forward to our students returning to school on Monday, November 29th. As Christmas break approaches, we have lots of fun activities planned on our campus! PTO will have their annual craft day where students get to make an ornament to take home as a keepsake. Our 3rd and 4th-grade students will be having a music program in the VVHS competition gym on December 9th at 6:30 pm. Christmas parties will take place on December 17th (more info to come from your child's teacher).

Christmas break will be from December 20th through January 3rd. January 3rd is a Staff Development day and student holiday. Students will return to school on January 4th. There is a change to the school calendar in January. January 21st will now be a student holiday as our elementary campus will be hosting the 2nd-5th grade UIL Competition. If your child is competing in a UIL event, their event(s) will take place that day at VV Elementary School.
