Principal's Note...
This week is a time for all of us at MMES to give a shout out of THANKS to so many people!
We had two big town meetings this week in Manchester and Essex, and it was great to see and hear so many people talk passionately about how important education is to our two communities.
THANK YOU!
Our staff enjoyed an amazing staff luncheon that was hosted by our grade 5 families, and boy did they the bar high! The food, decor, and desserts were amazing! It was so humbling to see our parents go above and beyond to show our staff how much they appreciate them.
THANK YOU!
We had a very successful book fair this week as well. I am always amazed by the time our parent volunteers put into making this go smoothly for the students. It is something the students always look forward to!
THANK YOU!
Have a great weekend!
Best,
John

Help Wanted!
We are currently searching to build our substitute pool for the 18-19 school year. Do you know someone locally who has experience working with children in a school setting? Please have them email Mrs. Dodge directly at dodgec@mersd.org and we can take them through the application and screening process. Thanks so much in advance!

Oversight of Children at Evening Sporting Events
MERHS loves spirit at Friday evening sporting events. Games are a wonderful place for the community to come together. We would like to remind parents that there is not specific supervision of children during the game. We request that parents attend evening games with their children (Elemenary and MS Age). We want to make sure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable evening. Go Hornets!
