What is the light bulb?
The light bulb is electric with a wire filament heated to a high temperature by passing an electric current through it until it glows with visible light. The light bulb was invented in 1879. Thomas Edison invented the light bulb.
A Little about the Inventer
Thomas Edison was born February 11, 1847. He developed many devices that greatly influenced life around the world, including the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and the long lasting practical electrical light bulb. He is often credited with the creation of the first industrial research laboratory. He died October 18, 1931 at the age of 84.
