A note from Mrs. Johansen
We were so thrilled to see so many families come to Sanborn to pick up Chromebooks last week. During these challenging times, we are inspired by your kind words and encouragement. We now know schools will be closed through April 7, 2020. CCSD15 will continue to update families as we receive additional information.
The Sanborn staff and I are doing well and taking care of ourselves and our families, but we are heartbroken about not being able to see students during this time. Please let your children know that we all miss them and that their teachers are thinking about them.
Distance Learning starts up again on Tuesday, March 31. Each day, please complete the attendance form. The attendance link is the same for the entire building and can be completed by a student or parent. Our school day starts at 8:30 and ends at 2:30. Attendance should be submitted by 10:00. Late submissions are possible and still accepted by the form.

Your child's teacher will be providing Distance Learning lessons for your child via a digital platform. In addition to this digital platform, you can access these plans on Sanborn's distance learning page on our website. The folders on this page will be updated by Tuesday morning for this week's activities.
Sanborn teachers are available from 8:30-11:30 and 12:30-2:30 daily to engage with students and parents about the Distance Learning activities.
Although the school is closed, I will continue to be available by email. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have. I can be reached at johansee@ccsd15.net .
Please take care. I wish you all continued health.
Fondly,
Erika Johansen
