Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center

August/September 2021 Newsletter

We are so excited to welcome you all to Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center for the 2021-2022 school year. We are in for an eventful year full of student growth and learning!

The first two weeks of school have blown by and it has been so wonderful to have the students back in the building. We want to thank all the parents for being patient as we worked through our new carline procedures. We had to make some last-minute adjustments due to the start of our building expansion project and it is going to provide us with some challenges as the year progresses, but the end result is going to be amazing.

Please take note of the important dates and events listed below in the newsletter. Thank you all for the continued support and enjoy the long weekend!

Social Worker Corner

Hello Tiger Paw Families!

I am so looking forward to interacting with your students this school year.

Please know I am here to help, as you and your family are navigating these challenging times. Don’t hesitate to call or email me if you have any questions about community resources or need to talk about concerns you may have. My email is maryanderson@ozarktigers.org or call me at (417)582-5992.

Friendship and being Collaborative are the themes for our social-emotional groups and Classroom readings for September. We will talk about what it means to be a friend, getting along with others, and working together as a team.

Some of the books I will be sharing with our students will be We Can Get Along by Lauren Murphy Payne, A Little Spot of Teamwork by Diane Alber, Monty the Manatee by Natalie Pritchard and Natalie Merheb, We Don't Eat Our Classmates by Ryan T. Higgins, and Pete the Cat and the New Guy by Kimberly & James Dean.
