The MMS Monthly
Monday, November 16: Return to Virtual
Principal's Corner: Mr. Schultz
Students are expected to login to every class, participate, and complete assignments in both the morning virtual "synchronous" classes and the afternoon independent "asynchronous" classes. Students will continue to earn their grades and be marked absent or tardy if they do not show up on time to class. If you are having technical difficulty logging into a zoom or google meet session, you need to email the teacher as soon as possible to let them know.
Reminder: We have virtual/phone Parent/Teacher Conferences next week. Hopefully you signed up via Parent/Family Skyward. We look forward to talking to you.
We know these are trying times. The MMS family wants to thank all the wonderful families for all your support during these uncertain times. Together we will make it through and will be stronger when we do!
1st Hour 8:00-8:20
2nd Hour 8:25-8:45
3rd Hour 8:50-9:10

5th Hour 9:40-10:00

Students are expected to prioritize academics on school days from 8:00am-3:00pm. during remote learning, which are the same expectations during in-person learning. Students are also expected to check Google Classroom daily and do asynchronous activities when their class is not scheduled to meet synchronously.
If a student will be absent for their SYNCHRONOUS scheduled class, please call the attendance line/student services (810.364.6336) to speak to Mrs. Eisen or leave a message to excuse your student for missing the hour(s).
NOTICE: We will be pivoting back to our 'virtual' learning schedule starting on Monday, November 16th until further notice. The Board of Education will evaluate this decision at the next board meeting on Wednesday, December 9th.
