Principal's Message

Hello Parents!

The teachers and students of Phillips Preparatory are doing amazing things in the classroom to make safety a priority while creating an innovative and engaging learning environment. Our expectation is that all students (remote learners and face-to-face learners) show up each day on time and prepared to ACTIVELY participate. We expect students to read, ask questions, and submit quality work. We also expect all students to follow all safety protocols and guidelines to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the flu, strep, and any other infectious diseases. I’d like to thank our parents, family members, and community partners for their continued support. Let's make this a fantastic 3rd quarter!

"Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. Also known as African American History Month, the event grew out of “Negro History Week,” the brainchild of noted historian Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans. Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month. Other countries around the world, including Canada and the United Kingdom, also devote a month to celebrating Black history." -
Admission tickets for all MCPSS events must be purchased online at Social distancing will be enforced at all events. Masks will be worn by spectators at all indoor competitions.
