Graduation information
Aledo High School will hold in-person graduation for the Class of 2020 on Friday, May 29 at Bearcat Stadium.
The event will be held at 10 a.m. and each senior with receive four tickets. Graduation will also be live-streamed and Aledo ISD is encouraging senior families to watch from the comfort of home.
The state is allowing schools to host outdoor graduation ceremonies and we must follow strict regulations to help provide a safe event and maintain social distancing. Guidelines will be in place for parking, arrival times, the health status of attendees, seating assignments, facility use, the spacing of graduates, and exiting Bearcat Stadium.
We will also be providing celebration opportunities for those graduates who prefer not to attend. Next week, Aledo ISD will share all the guidelines and restrictions in detail.
In the event of bad weather, the first makeup date is Saturday, May 30 at 10 a.m. at Bearcat Stadium. The second makeup date is Monday, June 1 at 10 a.m.
