Homework - March 21st - 28th

Reading – at least 30 minutes nightly - initial in the box each day your child reads for at least 30 minutes. Please remember to initial your child's folder.

Math – March Math Book - Days 11-15 - please take time to go over the questions with your child. It is so important that they are completing the questions correctly. We will take the February Math book out this Friday.

Spelling - Study words and complete 2 spelling activities - the patterns are very hard this week. Please work on them every night. Break them up into sets and study one type of words each night.

High Frequency Words - practice reading and spelling the 1st and 2nd 100 Words.

Fluency Passage - Read the passage three times this week. Read it once and time if for one minute. Practice the passage and then read it a second time for one minutes. Practice and read it a third time. Hopefully, each time the words per minute have increased.

Field Day Shirts

Field Day 2016 Pixel Mania is approaching.

T-shirt order forms have gone home with your kids. Order forms AND money are due by March 30th to your homeroom teacher.

Shirts are $5 for sizes youth small – Adult XL. XXL are $6 and XXXL are $7.

Each grade level will wear the following color shirts:

Kindergarten – yellow

1st Grade – purple

2nd Grade – orange

3rd Grade – Green

4th Grade – Blue

5th Grade - Red

Parents, you are also welcome to purchase a shirt if you would like one!

We would like to let you know that we would love for you to volunteer in 2nd grade. We can always use parents to help in so many ways. If you are interested in helping in your child's classroom, email your child's teacher. We love to have parents here working with our kids and helping us.
